How to find Harnas:
Harnas is located approx. 300 km in the east of Windhoek.
As you enter the town of Gobabis from the Windhoek side, you will approach a 4 way stop. Here you turn left and drive through the main road of Gobabis towards the Botswana border. Follow this road out of Gobabis for around 6km where the road turns left on the C22 towards the town of Drimiopsis. The road sign Harnas lion farm indicates the direction and distance. Drive around 50km on the tar road. Where the gravel road ends you enter the town of Drimiopsis and here you turn right towards Harnas. |

You drive a further 50km and follow the road signs to the entrance of the Harnas Wildlife Foundation on your left hand side. From the entrance it is another 12km to the main lodge where you will see the reception area under a big thatched roof.
